Plumley Council Meetings

Plumley with Toft and Bexton Parish Council meets at 7.45pm on the first Wednesday of the month except for August and January (unless otherwise stated below).  A Police surgery is occasionally held 15 minutes before the meeting starts, this will be confirmed on the meeting agenda.

Members of the public are always welcome at these meetings. The meeting follows the monthly agenda during which time members of the public may not speak, however there is a public session at the beginning of each meeting and members of the public can discuss their issues then.

During April/May the Parish Council holds a Statutory Annual Parish Meeting held at Plumley Village Hall. The Parish Council either invites speakers or provides an update at these meetings and all members of the Parish are welcome.

In May we hold the Annual Meeting of the Parish Council where the Parish Councillors nominate and vote for the Chairman of the Parish Council.

Proposed meetings 2018/19 (all Wednesdays and starting at 7.30pm unless stated otherwise)

  • 2nd May – Council AGM  (PLUMLEY Village Hall Committee Room at  7.00 pm) and Annual Meeting of the Parish – PLUMLEY Village Hall main room at  8.30pm –  Residents welcome
  • 6th June – meeting if required
  • 4th July Council Meeting
  • 1st August – meeting if required
  • 5th September Council Meeting
  • 3rd October – meeting if required
  • 7th November Council Meeting
  • 5th December – Meeting if required

The Parish Council is responsible for keeping accurate records of how funds are spent. Copies of approved accounts are available to view on this page.

Parishoners can apply to the Parish Clerk to view a paper copy of the accounts by appointment.
